General Colin Powell the first Black US secretary of state died from complexities directly from COVID-19, his family members stated on Facebook.

” Colin L. Powell, the former united state of America Secretary of State and also Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff departed today because of complications arising from COVID-19,” read an announcement published on his formal Facebook web page.

” He was totally vaccinated. We wish to thank the health care personnel at Walter Reed National Medical Facility for their caring treatment. We have lost a remarkable and loving husband, dad, grandpa, and a great American.”
