Is the US economy really doing as well as Trump says?

Are the positive US economy figures for which the president spoke  of really the result of his management, there is doubt as to how much is actually in the data he wielded. The president assures that his reduction of taxes will contribute to generate employment. They are good times for the economy of the United States 1. “Since the elections we have created 2.4 million new jobs, including 200,000 only in the industrial sector” Donald Trump won the election on November 8, 2016 and took office as president on January 20, 2017. Considering the figures since his victory over Hillary Clinton, the US economy has added 2.37 million jobs. According to data from the Department of Labor, 196,000 jobs were created in the manufacturing sector. Trump said unemployment among blacks is at historic lows. Job growth, however, began before Trump began his tenure. In fact,  the pace of job creation has slowed down since the time of his predecessor, Barack Obama  . Although that may also be d

Diane Keaton Defending Woody Allen In Sexual Abuse Accusations

HOLLYWOOD – Actress Diane Keaton publicly showed her support for director Woody Allen, saying she continues to “believe in him. “ The accusation come shortly after Mr. Allen adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow,  accusations against him were for alleged abuses  that occurred when she was seven years old. The 82-year-old director  denies all the accusations. Keaton, who was one of the great muses of the director and star of works like “Annie Hall” (1977) or “Manhattan” (1979), is one of the few celebrities that has come out in defense of Allen. “Woody Allen is my friend and I still believe in him,”  tweeted Keaton, who maintained a relationship with Allen in the 1970s. Along with her message, the actress included the link to a 1992 interview in which Allen defended himself against the first accusations made then by his ex-partner Mia Farrow. The accusations against Allen resurfaced amid the scandal of cases of sexual harassment that hit Hollywood, and after the first interview that

See how much it will cost to advertise during the Super Bowl

MINNEAPOLIS – Costs for each  30-second  ad during the   52nd Super Bowl game  , which will be played next Sunday at the  US Bank Stadium   in  Minneapolis  , will increase the original  $5.05 million to 6  . At least that is the latest data offered by a report by  Ashley Rodriguez  ,  qz.com  , and the reason given is that more and more people have stopped having  cable television service  . Therefore, the  television audience  that  advertising  has reached throughout the season has been lower than in previous years and only an event like the Super Bowl can maintain it. The information published by  Sportsnaut  ,  Tim Calkins,  professor of marketing at the  Kellogg School of Management  , indicates that “a large part of the media is fragmenting into ever smaller audiences.” “So if you want to reach a lot of people, the only way you can do that is through the Super Bowl … because it has the combination of a  large audience  and a group of people who want to see the publicity.

State Of The Union: Trump promotes his Immigration and Infrastructure Plans

Washington –  In his first message on the state of the Union, President Donald Trump spoke lightly about the recent disasters, and stressed the agenda he wants to promote this semester in the Congress on immigration and infrastructure . “To all those who are still recovering in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, California and everywhere, we are with you, we love you and we will do it together,” President Trump said. His message gained only 40% popularity, the lowest percentage that has been registered for a White House tenant in his first year. The Puerto Rican Democratic congressmen Nydia Velázquez and Luis Gutiérrez, and the mayor of San Juan Carmen Yulín Cruz – who was invited to the speech by Democratic senator Kirsten Gillibrand -, criticized the lack of a reference to their public policy to attend the emergency in Puerto Rico, where a third of the population still does not have electricity. “Despite the fact that citizens still face a humanitarian

Joe Kennedy III Replied to State Of The Union Speech by Donald Trump

WASHINGTON – A new member of the Kennedy family, the influential dynasty in US politics, made his debut before a broad national audience presenting his Democratic Party’s reply to the State of the Union address by President Donald Trump. Apart from having one of the most famous names in US history, what else do we know about him? Joe Kennedy III, currently a representative to the lower house,  jumped to the national stage with the traditional reply to the annual presidential speech  . Although he is well known in political circles in his native state of Massachusetts, it was the first time that Kennedy was presented on “triple-A schedule”. In a speech that had moments in Spanish, he went directly to the so-called “ dreamers ” – undocumented immigrants who came as children to the country – who were protected during the Obama administration but are now threatened with deportation. “You are part of our history,” he said in the Spanish  . “We will fight for you and we will not go a

Imposed Sanctions Against the “Dictatorships” of Cuba and Venezuela

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump, confirmed on Tuesday of imposed “harsh sanctions” on the “dictatorships” of Cuba and Venezuela, within the portion dedicated to foreign policy of his speech on the State of the Union before the US Congress. “My Government has also imposed harsh sanctions on the communist and socialist dictatorships of Cuba and Venezuela,” Trump said. The president did not mention other Latin American countries, and thus focused on the two main antagonists of his continent, to which his Government has imposed harsh measures in response to what he considers serious human rights problems. According to the State Department, the United States has applied “more than 50 economic sanctions” since Trump came to power a year ago on Venezuelan individuals and the country’s financial system. In Cuba, Trump has hampered US travel and trade with the island, and had a harsh reaction to the alleged “ sonic attacks ” against US diplomats in Havana, leaving his embassy on t

Relationships: Do we have to change partners every five years?

Lifetime relationships have an expiration date. Or that is what the Spanish psychologist Rafael Santandreu considers.  In his most recent book, he defends the idea that couples should be together for a maximum of five years. “You do not know how to stay. You arrive, you mess up my life and you leave. Yours is not love, it’s emotional tourism. ”  This quotation from the Mexican writer Edel Suarez demonstrates what for many people today means relationships in pairs:   avoid long-term commitment, the renunciation of the self and letting itself be flooded by a timeless love  . It is therefore preferable to collect experiences in the company of multiple couples sentimental to stay anchored to one. REPROGRAM YOUR DAILY LIFE FOR A FAR BETTER FUTURE “In the future, no couple will pretend to be with the other all their lives. Actually, that is very absurd; Couples should change every five years. I understand that, to this day, this sounds like something regrettable, but the human bein

Rat Bathing in a Viral Video May Not Be What it Seems

At first, in the video it seems a rat was taking a bath, b ut now we are not so sure. In Peru, local DJ Jose Correa told Metro, from the United Kingdom, that he was going to take a shower in a public bath last Saturday, in the town of Huaraz, when he saw a rodent standing in a sink rubbing his body with legs, just like humans do. “I’ve never seen anything like it,” Correa said. “It was like 30 seconds, and then he ran away. As if he wanted to wash himself well. “ In social networks, the rodent is already known as “The shower rat”. It certainly looks like he’s washing his body, but what was he really doing? An animal expert analyzed the video. “The movements are quite strange,” said Tuomas Aivelo, a researcher in Urban Rat Biology at the University of Helsinki in Finland on the technology blog Gizmodo. “A rat would not do it unless it wanted to get rid of something. I think he had soap all over his body and probably that was a problem for the rat that just wanted to clean it. “

Stuffed Peppers – Peperoni Farciti

Stuffed Peppers, a way to anyone’s  heart. It’s the most memorable time of my youth, They were absolutely delicious! Red, green and yellow peppers are taken. They are filled with bread, tomatoes ripened in the sun, capers, olive oil, garlic and baked until  the edges of the peppers caramelized  . A fantastic flavor “Mom, who was a great cook, always prepared more than necessary, so we could eat later, something necessary in a large family,” he explained. FRENCH, ITALIAN SANDWICHES, IT DOESN’T GET EASIER THAN THIS “Many times I surprised my brothers by opening the fridge to eat them.” The post Stuffed Peppers – Peperoni Farciti appeared first on Conspiracy Talk News . from Conspiracy Talk News http://ift.tt/2nmk562 via IFTTT http://ift.tt/eA8V8J

Laboratory Mosquitoes will Fight Zika Near Miami Florida

MIAMI – Thousands of mosquitoes infected with bacteria will fly near Miami to test a new way to eradicate the insect population that transmits zika and other viruses. The first insects will be released in the city of South Miami, according to a statement from the company MosquitoMate, based in Kentucky.  The tests are a collaboration with the Division of Mosquito Control and Habitat Management of Miami Dade County. FIGHTING ZIKA BY GENETICALLY ALTERED INSECTS MosquitoMate infects male mosquitoes of the aedes aegypti species with a bacterium that exists naturally, the Wolbachia. No breeding produced by those mosquitoes raised in laboratories with wild female mosquitoes will reach maturity. “Male mosquitoes do not bite, and Wolbachia is not harmful to humans” they said. Last spring a similar test was done near Key West.  CONNECTION BETWEEN U.S. MILITARY AND ZIKA MOSQUITO The arrival of Hurricane Irma to the Florida Keys interrupted the last weeks of monitoring of that stud

US Treasury Department Assumes The Largest Dept In 8 Years

WASHINGTON – The Treasury Department announced Monday it plans to take on $441 billion in debt in the January-March quarter, the largest amount in eight years. It will be the largest indebtedness from the 483,000 million dollars of the January-March 2010 quarter, when the government used the spending as a stimulus measure to try to get the country out of the Great Recession and to support the banking system after the worst financial crisis in seven decades. The government’s debt needs have increased due to the increase in the federal budget deficit.  The fiscal year of 2017 deficit, which ended last September, reached 665,800 million dollars. Whats Facing The Global Economy In 2018 Experts from the private sector estimate that this year’s deficit will amount to some 765,000 million dollars, and some predict that by next year it could again reach trillion dollars.  Both projections reflect the increase in Social Security and Medicare costs due to the retirement of the “post-w

Andrew McCabe Deputy Director of FBI Quits Before His Planned Retirement

WASHINGTON – The “number two” of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Andrew McCabe, today left his post and will officially leave the agency in mid-March, according to a source familiar with the matter told Conspiracy Talk News. The departure of McCabe from the FBI, which has not been officially confirmed, comes after having received numerous criticisms by the president, Donald Trump. McCabe was the right hand of director James Comey, fired in 2017 by the president and with whom he led the investigation of Hillary Clinton for the use of a private mail server to deal with official matters when she was Secretary of State in (2009-2013). The 47-year-old McCabe intended to retire in March, but has decided to use a “vacation” time during the next two months, during which time he will continue to receive the FBI salary, although he will no longer serve as “number two” of the agency, according to internal source. That way, leaving the federal agency in mid-March, when he will m

Volkswagen Criticized For Alleged Experiments With Monkeys and Humans

GERMANY – The chairman of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen (VW), Hans Dieter Putsch, criticized on Monday for alleged experiments of the company with monkeys and humans who would have been inhaling gases from diesel engines of the company, according to information from several German media sources. “On behalf of the Supervisory Board I distance myself with total determination of this type of practice,” said Pötsch from the headquarters of Volkswagen in Wolfsburg and considered that these experiments “are not in any way understandable.” He also noted that these practices “must be fully clarified and without reservations” and said that the Supervisory Board will deal with the matter. “I will do everything in my power to ensure that these events are fully investigated,” he said, adding that whoever is responsible “will of course have to be held accountable”. Several German media, including the “Stuttgarter Zeitung” and the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” said today that manufacturers of t

Milwaukee: Is it really a Growing City for Millennials?

MILWAUKEE – I was going through my LinkedIn recently and I stumbled on an article posted by someone (I have the link in the description of the video attached to this article); the article stated that Milwaukee is one of the best cities in the country for young people to start a career. I also learned that the median income for recent college graduates is 38 thousand a year, or around 18 dollars an hour. This is decent income, compared to minimum wage. I had some interest on this topic given that I live in Milwaukee. The article did not have much information, so I decided to perform some additional research. After some quick Googling, I found that the median household income in Milwaukee is 58 thousand. I took a step further to check for the meaning of median income; it is the combined income at one household. Meaning, it can be you and your spouse, you and your roommate or just you living alone. Provided everything I learned from research is accurate, I assume the college gradu

Hillary Clinton Gives Political Touch to the Grammy’s

NEW YORK – Grammy winner Hillary Clinton returned to the awards on Sunday with a role she seems to have enjoyed. She was a surprise guest in a comedy segment of host James Corden, in which he supposedly auditioned for the recording of a spoken album of Michael Wolff’s popular book about President Donald Trump’s government, “Fire and Fury.” John Legend, Cher, Snoop Dogg, Cardi B and DJ Khaled also auditioned for Corden. The last candidate started with the book covering her face, which she reveal it, yup, it was Clinton.  After reading, Corden enthusiastically told her that she was perfect for the job. “Do you think?” Said the Trump contender in the 2016 election. “Is the Grammy guarenteed?” Clinton won the Grammy in 1997 for her audio book “It Takes a Village.” Not everyone was happy with the reading.   United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Halley tweeted that it ruined her Grammy experience. “I’ve always loved the Grammys, but the artists who read the book ‘Fi

I will always be a political prisoner of my father’s name: Joseph Stalin

She was the only daughter of Joseph Stalin, who ruled the Soviet Union from the mid-1920 s until his death in 1953. Stalin also had two sons,  but she was his favourite . It was also the one that defected to the United States. His life was a paradox, between obedience and rebellion. And as a result, nothing was easy for Svetlana. Even to change her name she had to ask permission from the Kremlin, where many criticized her for violating Stalin’s memory. “She lived at the heart of her father ‘s name throughout her life , “  says Rosemary Sullivan, author of the biography  Stalin’s daughter: the extraordinary and tumultuous life of Svetlana Alliluyeva , awarded with the Plutarch Prize, Biography 2016 and named book of the year by the  Daily Mail  of the United Kingdom. According to Sullivan, who researched Svetlana’s life for four years in several countries and interviewed dozens of relatives, friends and acquaintances, Stalin’s daughter was, nevertheless, a fighter. “She was a w
