In the last few years after the start of the COVID pandemic in 2020, health institutions changed the definitions of a pandemic and its clinical terms, Those changes have a considerable effect on our daily way of life. As a matter of fact, were it not for the WHO Agency altering the meaning regarding a “pandemic” way back in 2009, we definitely would not live or be in this mess. Let me explain…

Remember the swine flu and prior to it, SARS-CoV-2? well, they would never qualify as a pandemic were it not for the WHO removing keywords from the original definition Pre-2009, the official meaning of a pandemic was actually:

” When a new influenza virus appears against which the human population has no immunity, resulting in several, simultaneous epidemics worldwide with enormous numbers of deaths and illness.”.
