Firefighters Save Dog after Fire in California

 

A small white dog named Jack is recovering after firefighters rescued him from a burning house and resuscitated him.

In a video posted on the website of the Bakersfield Fire Department that has been widely publicized online, firefighter Matt Smith appears leaving the house on Wednesday while carrying the nearly lifeless Shih Tzu dog.

With a pet oxygen mask donated to the apartment by a local Girl Scout group, Smith and his companions slowly bring Jack back to life.
