According to a report from the Financial Times, the EU brewers' trade group has raised concerns that the US’s 25% tariff on beer imports could lead to factory closures and widespread job losses across the industry. Earlier this week, the US Commerce Department included beer and empty aluminum cans in its list of products subject to tariffs, targeting aluminum. This move is part of Trump’s broader strategy to impose import taxes on countries he claims have unfair trade practices.
