Kitty Cat – Maybe you have just adopted one, falling in love with the idyllic image of these little animals that are so often depicted in all kinds of calendars.  But when you get home, what looked like a gentle stuffed toy has become a whirlwind that does not stop playing, climb your furniture, hunt your legs or climb the curtains. Young kittens are very active and need many stimuli to not get bored and few things can be as unruly at home as a boring brood, be it human or animal.  These tricks will help you that your beloved animal is entertained and you can enjoy your partner a little more relaxed. Pet Dogs – The Hairy Heroes We Grow To Love

Not only humans can be heroes, so can animals. They are also capable of actions that save lives, as is the case with rescue dogs.  The last hairy hero is called Dayko. Dayko belonged to the Ecuadorian fire department and had behind him a long experience acting in disasters. His nose was so good that he was considered one of the best dogs and that is why he was taken to ground zero after the recent earthquake. There he managed to save seven people before dying of a heart attack of pure exhaustion. His story goes around the world Everyone has been shocked by the history of this dog that already had very demanding training qualifications. The firefighters of the body affirm that he was a very affectionate dog and they emphasize the loyalty that could be perceived in his glance. They have also said that, like every living being, Dayko had his weak points and that on some occasion he escaped to reach some furry lady who was especially receptive. It even see...

Pet Census – What Good Are they?

Pet Census –  More and more municipalities are beginning to develop censuses of pets in which they register what animals are in the municipality and who they are owned by.  This should be something of a mandatory nature, and in the same way that a person when buying a car is registered as its owner, you should do something similar with animals. Why are pet censuses important? Prevent abandonment . This is fundamental. This is something that could be solved at least partially if all the animals had an identification chip. In a first stage it could be mandatory for pets that are bought in stores or adopted, protecting animals from illegal trade. Dutch Veterinarians Want Compulsory Health Insurance For Pets Help to recover lost dogs and cats . Many animals are lost every year and end up in the municipal kennels or in the hands of people who given the impossibility of knowing who the owners of the animal were and decide to keep them. If the animal had a chip it...

Do not stress your cat with avoiding trips

Avoiding Trips with your Cat – In the summer many of us travel to enjoy a few days of quiet life in a village.  There everything goes to another rhythm, everything is very quiet and perhaps, we even have a garden to eat and to spend the afternoon relaxing. We think it’s paradise and, of course, we think about sharing it with those people we love. This includes in many cases our pets and for that reason, some owners of cats decide to travel with their animals so that they can enjoy a little summer in the field. But a cat is not a dog and what for us is something wonderful, perhaps for them it is not so much. To start, everything will depend on the character of the animal and we must observe their reactions. There are cats that just by putting them in the car can start them up as the devil himself.. They cry, meow, scratch the carrier and also get dizzy and vomit. The trip becomes a real ordeal and they end up arriving in a bad mood and very nervou...

Is My Dog Also Cold ?

I am not going to lie, I believe that a  dogs is part of the family  and as such should live at home together with man.  But it is also easy to understand the position of some families, especially those who have numerous animals and who feel that having all of them at home makes life very difficult. There are also  dog breeds very restless by nature  that in a farm can run freely outside and that they get used to living outside without problems. But remember, if you want your dog to live outside, you must do it with all the security and maximum comforts. In many kennels we see  canines that are real disasters  . A small roof supported by two poles and without any type of side walls. If it rains or if it is cold the dog is totally exposed to the elements. It is not true that the dog is not cold and that his hair protects everything. It is true that if you have no other choice, but do you think that they can not suffer fr...
