Avoiding Trips with your Cat – In the summer many of us travel to enjoy a few days of quiet life in a village. 

There everything goes to another rhythm, everything is very quiet and perhaps, we even have a garden to eat and to spend the afternoon relaxing. We think it’s paradise and, of course, we think about sharing it with those people we love.

This includes in many cases our pets and for that reason, some owners of cats decide to travel with their animals so that they can enjoy a little summer in the field. But a cat is not a dog and what for us is something wonderful, perhaps for them it is not so much.

To start, everything will depend on the character of the animal and we must observe their reactions. There are cats that just by putting them in the car can start them up as the devil himself.. They cry, meow, scratch the carrier and also get dizzy and vomit. The trip becomes a real ordeal and they end up arriving in a bad mood and very nervous.

But even with a peaceful trip it is possible that an animal as territorial as a cat can  begin to show a different behavior, stop eating or simply look sad and unwilling to play.

These animals should not be subjected to avoidable displacements and, if we see that the cat reacts badly, it is best that the next time we look for someone to take care of him in his own home and, unless it is absolutely inevitable, we will move it.

Cat very attached to humans

On the contrary, other animals are so attached to their human friends that they can not stand being alone. They feel abandoned and depressed and, although by nature they are not friends of travel and changes, they prefer to being alone.

One way to avoid this is usually by introducing a second cat with which they get a good relationship and thus not feel alone during absences.

It is difficult to know what kind of cat we have at first, especially because we have a tendency to think that they reason and act like us, and we can misinterpret their reactions.

But observing them carefully, will be easaly realize in a short time what is best for our cat and take it into account in successive vacation trips.

Death of young puppy aboard United flight triggers United States department inquiry

United Airlines dealt with new reactions on Wednesday regarding a young puppy dog which passed away in-flight soon after an attendant ordered it stored in an overhead box.
