Three African countries to Evaluate 1st Malaria Vaccine

3 African locations have already been chosen in order to test the world’s 1st malaria vaccine, a new World Health Organization announced Monday.

Ghana, Kenya and Malawi will begin piloting this inject-able vaccine the coming year with thousands and thousands involving young kids, who have been at greatest risk of death.

This vaccine, which has limited effectiveness, has the prospective to help save hundreds of thousands of lives if used with existing methods, the WHO regional representative for Africa, Dr .. Matshidiso Moeti, said in a statement.

The challenge is whether poor countries can easily supply the required four doses of this vaccine for each and every youngster.

The question this reporter has is why are Africans living in third world country’s continuously become human test victims ?

Could it be that NO ONE so poor has the ability or knowledge to protest these tests?

What do you think?
