President Donald Trump launched major criticism of the national press during a speech in Pennsylvania that he hosted the very same night the White House Correspondents’ Association celebrates its annual dinner.

A few weeks ago Trump decided not to attend that dinner and even sent his congratulations to the organization.

But in a speech to his supporters Saturday night in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the president ridiculed the news media, especially centering out CNN News and accused them of spreading “fake news.”

Trump said that if the press’s job is to be honest and tell the truth, then it deserves “a huge rebuttal rating.”

The president said that, in contrast, his government meets the American peoples needs  every day.

Trump said the press was stuck at her dinner in Washington and predicted it would be “extremely boring.”
