Many anti-Trump protests took to the streets in southern Florida this past Friday and Saturday, in which many voiced their dissatisfaction with the results of the presidential election.

“He’s not my president,” was shouted as the parade passed through several blocks of the city, pretests were seen and expanded to Wynwood and Fort Lauderdale.

Several Protestants told the media that they feared for their future in the wake of anti-immigrant rhetoric promoted by President elect Donald Trump during his campaign.

“It’s a system that was created for a purpose at the beginning of our nation and it may be time to change it because it’s an outdated system,” protester Steven Thunberg told CBSMiami.

According to local authorities, about 3,000 protesters showed up at Bayfront Park event and closed traffic down on MacArthur Causeway and I-95.

A woman was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, according to the Fort Lauderdale police.
