Walsall, England – The Portuguese U-17 soccer team drew 0-0 with Norway in their opening match of Group B of the UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Championship finals in England.
The meeting between Portugal, who was six times European champion in 1989, 1995, 1996, 2000 – in the Match-up of U16 -, 2003 and 2016, and Norway, which never managed to reach the podium, was once again held back in the town of Walsall.
The other group meeting between Slovenia and Sweden will be played today at St. George’s Park in Burton-on-Trent, starting at 19:00.
