If one was curious to know where many of the Hollywood celebrities were during Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration, it was made clear on Saturday: a large number of those personalities participated in mass marches in Washington and other cities to send a strong message to the new president. In Park City, Utah, where the “Sundance Film Festival” takes place, television host “Chelsea Handler as well as Charlize Theron, Kristen Stewart” and others took part in the protest.
In Los Angeles Miley Cyrus took the stage with “Jamie Lee Curtis, Demi Lovato and Jane Fonda” were among the tens of thousands of protesters.
In the capital a crowd of women wearing pink hats with pointed cat ears mocking the new president stretched across the place when Madonna took the stage and as everyone expected, let loose her comments.

Actress Ferrera told thousands of women gathered that they were all participating in the march “in favor of the moral essence of this nation and against our new president in making war.” Our dignity, our character, all our rights are under attack, and a platform of hatred and division took over yesterday. But the president is not the United States … We are the United States, and we are here to stay. ”
