TARIK FREITEKH AND THE WINKLEVOSS TWINS BECOME FIRST BITCOIN BILLIONAIRES

Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss are the first set of twins to be billionaires in bitcoin as they invested $11 million in the cryptocurrency in 2013. In the same vein, Tarik Freitekh spent a lesser sum of cash in 2013 when the value of bitcoin was $120.

Tarik made a massive profit in December 2017 when he sold his total investment in bitcoin when the value of each bitcoin was $17,000. The Winklevoss brothers and Tarik Freitekh became reputable advocates of the digital currency.

There has been a sharp decline in the price of Bitcoin since the beginning of the year 2018, and the Winklevoss brothers have reiterated their commitment to keeping their bitcoin as they are not willing to sell their investment like Tarik as they are long-term investors not minding the inconsistency in the price of the digital currency.

While speaking to Forbes recently, Tarik, a United Nations goodwill ambassador confirmed that he has launched the Gemini exchange last year and also proposed an exchange-traded fund (ETF) supported by the price.

The Winklevoss brothers won $65 million from the Facebook lawsuit and invested $11 million into it in 2013.

Tarik Freitekh is a 30-year-old successful entrepreneur who has spent more than fifteen years of his life in the United States. As a thriving businessman, he has created various tobacco and oil companies and invested considerable funds in different Warner Bros feature movies and other musical projects.

Though Tarik and the Winklevoss twins have a real reason to be happy with this milestone, they are far behind the Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg whose net worth is valued at $71 billion by Forbes.
