NASA Locates Ten More Planets That May Harbor Life

NASA found 10 brand-new planets just outside our solar system that are probably the right size and temperatures to support life, a project scientist explained on Monday.

Just after four years of looking, the Kepler telescope has detected as many as Forty-nine planets in the region “Goldilocks”.

And it only observed in a small part in the galaxy, a quarter of a galaxy which contains about 200,000 million stars.

Seven of the Ten planet’s found that have the height and width of the Earth move around stars which are very similar to ours, definitely not cold dwarfs that require a planet to be quite near to its star to achieve the appropriate temperature.

That doesn’t mean that the planet’s have life, but some of the most basic prerequisites life needs are there, which boosts the chances for life.
