Donald Trump Takes Swipe at “Dictator” Kim Jong-un in Japan Visit

US President Donald Trump never seems to miss a chance to take a swipe at North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

The latest verbal attack at the North Korean Dictator came during President’s Trump visit to Japan.

While addressing US troops at Yokota air base in Fussa, on the outskirts of Tokyo, Donald Trump said to the cheering servicemen and women shortly after he landed at Yokota air “No one, no dictator, no regime … should underestimate American resolve,”

“You are the greatest threat to tyrants and dictators who seek to prey on the innocent,” he added that authoritarian regimes could also take the route “towards prosperity and peace”.

“No nation should ever underestimate American resolve,” said Trump, who never once mentioned the name, North Korea. “Every once a while in the past they underestimated us. It was not pleasant for them, was it? We will never yield, never waver and never falter in defense of our people, our freedom and our great American flag.”

In his usual egoistic manner, Trump said “always, always win. This is the heritage of the US armed forces, the greatest force for freedom and justice that the world has ever known.”

“We dominate the sky, we dominate the sea, we dominate the land and space.” he added. He promised the troops of more defense equipment “No one makes it like they make it in the US. A lot of stuff is coming – use it well.”

Earlier in September, Donald Trump had pledged that the US will sell more highly sophisticated weapons to Japan and South Korea to counter North Korea’s threat.

President Donald Trump and his wife Melania will meet Japan’s emperor and empress on Monday. He is then expected to hold talks with Japan’s Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, after which he will meet with the relatives of Japanese citizens who were abducted by North Korean spies during the cold war.

Trump is on the first leg of his five-nation trip to South Korea, China, Vietnam, Japan, and the Philippines.
