Performer David Cassidy, the 70s Teenage Idol, Passes away at 67

Cassidy being a heartthrob from the hit Television show “The Partridge Family” which unveiled his professional career.

David Cassidy, famous vocalist, acting professional as well as heartthrob from the Seventies, passed on Tuesday, a couple of days soon after becoming hospitalized with critical condition.

Cassidy’s long time publicist, JoAnn Geffen, explained within a statement Tuesday evening, “On behalf of the whole Cassidy family members, it’s with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, our uncle, and our dear brother, David Cassidy. David died surrounded by those he loved, with joy in his heart and free from the pain that had gripped him for so long. Thanks for the abundance and support you have shown him these many years.”
