Blizzard Entertainment is Returning With New Halloween Terror on Overwatch

If you enjoyed the last year’s Halloween Event on Overwatch, rejoice because Blizzard Entertainment is back with its spooky event with Halloween Terror 2017 starting October 10th and running until 2nd November.

The terror begins today with Overwatch minigames, new skins and Halloween terror loot box which may be gone very soon after the launch.

Terror Returns on Overwatch on October 10

“For the next three weeks, we’re celebrating the spookiest time of the year with a seasonal event. Expand your collection of seasonal-themed items and relive a chilling tale in our PvE brawl: Junkenstein’s Revenge.

This year, we’ve added a new endless mode for Junkenstein’s Revenge, with leaderboards to commemorate those who last the longest in their fight against the evil doctor. Plus, unlock over 50 new seasonal items—including new legendary skins like Dracula Reaper, Van Helsing McCree, Totally 80’s Zarya, and Dragon Symmetra—alongside last year’s Halloween Terror gear.”

Blizzard has released the Halloween special with new loot box containing over 140 cosmetic items that include new skins, emotes, highlights, avatars, sprays, voice lines and more. For a limited time, you can also explore the haunted versions of the Hollywood and Eichenwald maps.

Zarya Gets The Much-Awaited Makeover: Totally 80s

While there is a lot to unpack with the limited edition, I have to mention Zarya’s new legendary skin in a total 80s inspired look.

Rocking a Physical T-Shirt with colorful hairbands and rollerskates underneath her boots, Zarya looks badass in her new Purple avatar. Other characters getting a new avatar includes Mcree, Symmetra and Reaper.

It seems befitting as who else would be more excited at throwing a Halloween special costume party than Reaper.

Junkenstein’s Revenge: The Endless Night

Junkenstein’s Revenge includes facing off a team of Junkenstein and his monster, the mysterious summoner, the Reaper and the Witch of the Wilds. Team up with any of your three friends in a face-off against these horrific monsters.

Meanwhile, prepare yourself for the real challenge with The Endless Night edition. Play as any of these four heroes: Genji, Zenyatta, Torbjörn or the Widowmaker and see for how long you can survive a swarm of enemies and the bosses assaulting the castle doors.

Survive for the longest period of time and earn a spot on the all-new leaderboard in Overwatch.

Start your spooky journey with Halloween Terror now.</>
