Iran Assumed Defensive Posture towards US

When the Trump administration implied that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards were nothing more then terrorists, Iran reacted quickly by stating that American Military bases would certainly be at risk if and when sanctions were imposed on Iran.

“As we’ve announced in the past, if America’s new law for sanctions is passed, this country will have to move their regional bases outside the 2,000 km range of Iran’s missiles,” Guards’ commander Mohammad Ali Jafari pointed out quite clearly.

As Part of President Trumps New Iranian strategy, he would make public his decisions regarding Iran’s Missile testing which, according to the Trump Team, is an act of “terrorism” as well as cyber operations.

Sunni Muslim militants are seen by Iran as a threat towards the Islamic Republic consisting of primarily Shi‘ites.

Iran points out that dozens of Iranian Guards, which includes high ranking commanders have been murdered within Iraq and Syria.

“The Americans should know that the Trump government’s stupid behavior with the nuclear deal will be used by the Islamic Republic as an opportunity to move ahead with its missile, regional and conventional defense program,” Jafari went onto say.
