Washington: President Donald Trump is highly speculated to announce the decertification of Iran Nuclear Deal saying it is not in the best national interests of the US. Nothing, however, would be finalized immediately as the Congress would be able to restore the previous deal with a 51-vote majority sanction including one from Vice President.
“Calm Before the Storm”, What is Trump Implying?
On Thursday Evening, Trump hosted a dinner for his top military officials and their spouses. Afterwards, the group posed for a photograph and the ambiguous conversation happened with the reporters.
Trump started off by saying to the reporters, “You guys know what this represents? Maybe it’s the calm before the storm.”
Once Trump issued the statement, the question started flying around and reporters asked The President about “What storm” he was talking about.
A reporter asked him whether he was indicating North Korea or the Iranian Deal. On which Mr. President briefly replied and then ended the conversation with a cool statement.
“We have the world’s great military people in this room, I will tell you that. And uh, we’re gonna have a great evening, thank you all for coming.”

Trump has been a long-term critic of the Iranian deal and is expected to denounce it on October 12 citing the Iranians are supporting terrorism and increasing chaos in the world.
“The Iranian regime supports terrorism and exports violence, bloodshed and chaos across the Middle East. That is why we must put an end to Iran’s continued aggression and nuclear ambitions. They have not lived up to the spirit of their agreement.“, he added
Tremendous Progress Made Concerning Islamic States Group- President Trump
Continuing his statements, Trump mentioned how “tremendous program” has been made concerning the Islamic States Group that the world would soon know over the next short period of time.
Further, he added how the US has got the best military in the world and acknowledged their support in times to come.
Another Warning To North Korean President Kim Jong-Un
Denouncing Iran for not upholding their part of the deal, he continued to strike the North Korean Regime for their dictatorship and threatening the US and its allies.
“We cannot allow this dictatorship to threaten our nation or allies with unimaginable loss of life We have to do what we must do to prevent that from happening and it will be done, if necessary. Believe me.”
Whether this “calm before the storm” is targeted at North Korea or impending decertification of Iran Nuclear Deal, only Trump knows.
But his continues baffled statements may lead to an armed conflict between major countries. Recently European spokespersons have shown their distaste over Trump’s speculated decision with respect to Iran and they may as well support Iran over the matter leaving US as a minority in the row.
“We can speak with the administration about containing Iran’s malign influence. The question is: Does the U.S. have a strategy for that? Maybe they do. I don’t know.“, European official on the Iran Matter.
