At 20, he won $450 Million in the Lottery – He did this in his first month as Millionaire

LOTTERY – Until a month ago, Shane Missler led a modest life. At 20, he worked at a judicial background analysis company in Port Richey, a small town on the west coast of Florida with less than 3,000 inhabitants.

Life gave him a stroke of luck when, earlier this year, he became the only $450 million winner of the Florida Mega Millions lottery that was played on January 5th.

It was only 10 dollars that he invested and that changed his life. The lucky numbers were: 28-30-39-59-70-10.

Since he confirmed it on his Facebook with only three words “Oh, my God,” it have not stopped raining messages of congratulations, but also strangers begging him to help them pay some debt or simply give them some money.

This was the first thing he clarified in his social networks.

“Yes, I intend to do good things in the future and influence the lives of people in some way or another. No, I’m not going to hand out money. Philanthropy is something that will come with time, “he said in a message on his Instagram account. “After all, I’m only 20! I’m grateful, blessed and generally excited for the future, but I’m still a normal kid. “

Since then he has published a series of photographs with some of the things he has done since he became a millionaire at 20 years old.

The first thing he did was take a private jet to Tallahassee (only 4 hours by car from Port Richey) to claim the lottery check, which he decided to take in a single payment of $281 million paid to a trust.

Missler also fulfilled another of her dreams: He visited the statue of Rocky Balboa in Philadelphia and ran up the famous stairs.

The young man also attended the Super Bowl that took place last weekend in Minnesota with his brother and two friends.

“During all this madness I have met some of the most incredible and affectionate people. I must remember where I came from and bringing these guys means everything to me! I would not change this moment for nothing! “He wrote on his Instagram.

Missler has more than 14,000 followers on her Twitter account and Instagram accounts for more than 1,100 fans.

There is always a positive word in his messages: “chase your dreams”, “be grateful with life”, but there is one of Rocky Balboa that, he says, changed his life: “Each champion was once a contender who refused to give up”.

Behind the Barred Windows: How Afghanistan’s War on Drugs Became a Battle for Souls : If you walk through Kabul today, it might look cleaner than it did a few years ago. The parks once filled with men sprawled under the sun, the bridges littered with used needles and broken glass — they’re mostly empty now. Kids are playing again in Shahr-e-Naw Park. But behind the locked doors and barred windows of the city’s rehab centers, another battle rages — one far more complicated than it looks from the outside.
