Republican Senator John McCain is Hospitalized for Cancer

WASHINGTON (Conspiracy Talk News) – Senator and former Republican candidate for the White House, John McCain, was hospitalized Wednesday outside Washington for “normal side effects” from his cancer treatment, his office said.

“Senator McCain is receiving treatment at Walter Reed Medical Center for side effects from his cancer therapy,” his Senate office said in a statement.

Walter Reed Medical Center is a military institution located in Bethesda, a suburb of Washington in the state of Maryland.

McCain, now 81, was diagnosed back in July with a glioblastoma (brain tumor) after an operation to remove a blood clot in his native Arizona.

Since then, he has been treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy to overcome this cancer.

A few days after the diagnosis, Mr. McCain delayed the start of his treatment to vote, along with two other Republicans against the repeal of Obamacare (the healthcare law of Barack Obama), throwing a hard blow to the president of his country, Donald Trump.

McCain fought in the Vietnam War, where he was a prisoner for more than five years, since 1987 he is an Arizona senator and in 2008 he lost the White House elections to Barack Obama.
