Trump looks at the legislative 2018 with year-end tweets

WASHINGTON (Conspiracy Talk News) – Donald Trump has not failed to his Sunday habits, with a new string of tweets in which he has celebrated his first year in the White House, taking full advantage of his political achievements and marking the way for 2018.

Addressing Americans once again from his favourite platform, Twitter, the president has re-tweeted about the record year recorded on Wall Street, which he accompanies with a mention of the Democrats and their former rival in the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton.

“If the Democrats (dishonest Hillary) had been elected, their shares would have dropped by 50% compared to the values on Election Day. Now they have a great future, and it’s just beginning, “Trump wrote from his residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.

Then, the president focused on the crucial legislative elections of November 2018, when Republicans will have to defend their majority. “Why would smart voters want to put Democrats in Congress in 2018 when their policies will annihilate the enormous wealth created in these months?”

The president faces 2018 with the lowest approval of all his predecessors of the modern era after a year in office, which has shattered political expectations, strained the country’s alliances and revived the controversy over race and immigration.

Trump went beyond the economy in the list of what he sees as fulfilled campaign promises, and evoked the struggle against the Islamic State (IS), the reform of the veterans program, the defense of the right to bear arms (based on the second amendment of the Constitution), the nominations of Republican magistrates and their promise to strengthen the border with Mexico.

“People are much better now,” he wrote.

Famous for his direct, sometimes forceful tweets, which marked an unprecedented campaign in the United States and a stormy start to his term.

Trump defended his strong use of social networks on Saturday, once again attacking the mainstream media, one of his favorite targets , which he accuses of giving “false news or fake news“.

“I use social networks not because I like it, but because it is the only way to fight against the VERY dishonest and unjust ‘press’,” he said.
