Trump defends the use of ‘Mission Accomplished’ for attack on Syria

US President Donald Trump has defended the use of the term ” mission accomplished ” on Sunday after yesterday’s bombings in Syria despite the bad memory left by President George W. Bush in 2003 when he used exactly that term to end the war in Iraq.

“The assault on Syria was executed with such perfection, that the only way to attack it by the Fake News was to allude to my use of the term “, Trump said in his Twitter account.”

“I knew they would take advantage of this”, but I perceived that it is a military term so extraordinary that it had to be said.

“You have to use it often!” he added.

The United States ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, has assured this Sunday that the US will NOT remove its troops from Syria until they have achieved their goals.
