Erin Popovich, the spouse of NBA Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, died Wednesday. Erin was 67 years old, TMZ reports.
Erin and Gregg were married for over four decades now, his wife however, has been quite “ill over an extended period,” according to ESPN.
” We mourn the loss of Erin,” Spurs general manager RC Buford shared within an announcement. “She was a strong, wonderful, kind, intelligent woman who provided love, support and humor to all of us.”
Gregg Popovich, conducted a practice Wednesday, as the Spurs are at the moment at the center of a first-round playoff series versus the Warriors. The position with regard to the remainder of the series is simply not known, however game 3 will definitely be played Thursday evening at San Antonio.
