Trump sends troops to the border of Mexico while the wall is being built

One of the most striking electoral promises of the Donald Trump campaign was the construction of a wall on the border with Mexico to block illegal immigration. 

So, during the afternoon hours, the US president threatened his Latin American neighbor with ending the negotiations on the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Faced with this event, the US president announced that military troops would be deployed on the border with Mexico and intends to keep them there until the details and construction of the wall that has given so much controversy to the political struggle of Donald Trump are finalized.

“Until we can have a wall and proper security we’re going to be guarding our border with the military,” Trump said.

This action seeks to guarantee the security of the border in front of a caravan of approximately one thousand Central American immigrants who have started their advance through Central America and publicised through social networks.

The official statement of the white house has been: “We are going to protect our border with our military.

“Unfortunately, the president failed to lead, and rather than find real solutions on immigration, he continues to stoke fear,” Bennet said
