SAN FRANCISCO (Conspiracy Talk News) – Apple is finally ready to launch HomePod, a speaker that connects to the Internet to compete with Amazon and Google.
The HomePod pre-sale will begin on Friday in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, two weeks before it goes on sale in stores for $ 349.
Apple tried to launch the loudspeaker last month, during the epic Christmas shopping, but delayed it to refine the product.
Equivalent teams from Amazon and Google have expanded their reach since Apple announced its product last June.
Amazon and Google are also selling their speakers at a much lower price and even have simple versions available for less than $50.
Like its rivals, Home Pod includes a voice-activated assistant to help people manage their home and the rest of their lives. Apple depends on its Siri interface to process the commands, while Amazon uses Alexa and Google uses the Assistant program.
The three companies are trying to build digital command centers inside homes with the idea of selling some of their products.
In the case of Apple, the company has designed HomePod as a high fidelity speaker linked to its continuous music service that costs 10 dollars a month with unlimited access to 45 million songs. It is assumed that the it will be able to recognise the musical tastes of the users and automatically find melodies that they like.
