Hundreds of Young People Investigated for Child Pornography

DENMARK (Conspiracy Talk News) – More than 1,000 people, mostly teenagers, face preliminary charges of distribution of child pornography in Denmark, after sharing videos and photos on social media.

The material, which shows two young people of 15 years having sex, could involve distribution of child pornography despite the fact that 15 is the age of legal consent in Denmark, according to the police.

“Young people know that it can have enormous consequences” to share those images, police spokesman Flemming Kjaerside said, although he admitted that they might not know they were committing a crime.

For now, 1,004 people across Denmark face preliminary charges. If convicted they face fines, prison sentences or bans on working with children for a decade.

Two videos and several photos were shared last fall through Facebook Messenger messaging service.
